Enbridge to Upgrade Gas Lines in Lawrence Park

Enbridge plans to begin replacing the gas lines throughout Lawrence Park some
time after the winter of 2010. They have not yet given a firm start date.

Following this construction, Enbridge will patch and repair the roads as
necessary. At this time, there will be no changes to any roads.

City to begin a Study of the Lawrence Park neighbourhood

The City is planning to start a study of the Lawrence Park neighbourhood in
2010. The study is anticipated to be a joint effort by the City's Technical
Services Division, Toronto Water and Transportation Services Division and
address roads, sidewalks, drainage, traffic and other infrastructure issues within
the public road right-of-way. The outcome of the study should include
preliminary plans and scheduling for the reconstruction of all of the uncurbed
roads in the area. There will be opportunities for residents to be involved
through the public consultation process. It anticipated that actual construction
will start in 3-5 years time subject to City Council priorities, funding and
coordination of work.

In the interim, the City will continue to undertake road maintenance work such
as filling potholes and localized patching.
